Our go-to Korean restaurant: bb.q CHICKEN

I think it was late last year that bb.q CHICKEN opened its first branch in Taiwan, inside Urban One near Nanjing Fuxing MRT station. Back in January, we finally decided to try it out and we weren’t disappointed.

We went for their chicken bestsellers and we also ordered their salad and two of their pizzas. Their chicken’s really good and the pizzas are also okay.

Back in early March when the coronavirus wasn’t as severe, we had another team lunch there. That time, we ordered their rice cakes (tteokbokki) topped with cheese together with their fried chicken. Yuuuum!

A few days later, our company implemented an off-site office plan wherein we were separated into 2 groups / 2 floors so we couldn’t meet (or eat) with each other.

That plan finally ended last June 1 because of the stable situation in Taiwan, thanks to the government’s efficient responses.

After 3 months (wow, time flies!), we were finally able to have a team lunch again so we decided to eat at what has become our go-to Korean restaurant near the office.
