[Taipei Eats] Buffet dinner at Sunrise 旭集 和食集錦, Xinyi district

It was time for our quarterly team dinner, and this time they chose Sunrise 旭集 和食集錦, a restaurant in Xinyi district which one blogger claims to be the “best” Japanese food buffet restaurant that she’s tried.

It was my first time being there and the food did not disappoint!

Even if there weren’t a ton of choices and you had to keep falling in line for pretty much everything, I liked the food! I got multiple rounds of scallops, beef, and sashimi. Yummy.

Another good thing about it is that they have a pretty long eating time limit. Our reservation was for 6:30PM and we could eat until 9:30PM if I’m not mistaken. We made full use of those 3 hours.

After dinner, we walked around Xinyi district and for some reason, seeing Taipei 101, seeing the Christmas lights (even if it’s already January) and listening to street performers singing while taking a stroll made me feel a sense of peace and calm. I truly appreciate being here at this moment in time.
